highest area of the city, and where the ruins of one of the oldest and most famous temples in all of Greece remain. However, the temple is not the only attraction of the place, since on one of the slopes of the hill is the <strong>Plaka neighborhood<\/strong>.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>This is a historic neighborhood, which was born from the remains of the ancient agora of Athens. Since then, Plaka has been home to countless generations of Athenian citizens, as well as the neighborhood where Turkish governors and diplomats settled during the time of the Ottoman Empire.
