century, so it is considered one of the oldest structures in the city. This tower was designed by architect Paskoje Mili\u010devi\u0107 and was built to serve as the main entrance to the city.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The tower is made of white stone, with a square base supporting it. At the top is the mechanical clock, which was incorporated years later into the original structure. The tower structure includes a mechanical clock and two bronze statues, known as Maro and Baro, who are in charge of striking the bell every hour.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Over the years, the <strong>Clock Tower<\/strong> was damaged by several earthquakes, which caused it to gradually lean towards Stradun Street. To prevent further incidents, the tower was demolished and rebuilt in 1928, but the original statues of Zelenci were not returned to their place, but were replaced by replicas.
