In fact, much of <strong>Zadar&#8217;s tourist attraction lies in its undeniable cultural and historical heritage<\/strong>, rather than its beaches, restaurants or nightlife.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Urbanistically, <strong>Zadar stands out for its beautiful cobbled streets<\/strong>, its medieval walls and its many monuments in Gothic and Baroque style, dating from the Renaissance era. Likewise, in the <strong>Town square<\/strong> it is possible to admire buildings such as the Clock Tower and the town hall.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>It is also possible to tour the <strong>Roman Forum of Zadar<\/strong>, a monument built when Dalmatia was a province of the Roman Empire. This forum houses other smaller buildings, but just as interesting, such as a small chapel built in the 9th century, whose original structure remains practically unaltered.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>On the other hand, the Church of Santa Maria, the Cathedral of San Donato and the Archaeological Museum of Zadar, are also points of tourist interest, which are worth a visit.
