monta\u00f1as costeras act\u00faan como el tel\u00f3n de fondo perfecto para las <strong>aguas turquesas del Adri\u00e1tico<\/strong>, y ayudan a desviar la atenci\u00f3n de los numerosos bloques de el<strong> Palacio de Diocleciano<\/strong>, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco, y uno de los monumentos romanos m\u00e1s impresionantes del mundo.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Split, al igual que otras ciudades de la costa croata, est\u00e1 repleta de lugares magn\u00edficos que vale la pena visitar como las famosas <strong>Ruinas de Salona<\/strong>, compuesta por los restos de un antiguo asentamiento romano. De hecho, Salona, actualmente llamada Solin, es el <strong>sitio arqueol\u00f3gico m\u00e1s importante de Croacia<\/strong>.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Otro lugar simb\u00f3lico de Split es la <strong>Colina de Marjan<\/strong>, el pulm\u00f3n verde de la ciudad. En Marjan el turismo ecol\u00f3gico es la norma, y puedes unirte a los locales mientras das un paseo en bicicleta, o subes caminando hasta la cima. Cuando est\u00e9s en la parte m\u00e1s alta de Marjan, podr\u00e1s apreciar una hermosa e inigualable vista de Split, y, si llegas justo a tiempo para ver el atardecer, la experiencia ser\u00e1 a\u00fan m\u00e1s memorable.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Mientras tanto, al oeste de la ciudad encontrar\u00e1s la <strong>Plaza de la Rep\u00fablica<\/strong>, muy cercana al puerto principal de Split. Esta plaza es uno de los principales puntos de reuni\u00f3n entre los lugare\u00f1os. Igualmente, otro sitio de visita obligada es la <strong>Plaza de la Fruta<\/strong>, en la que encontrar\u00e1s variados caf\u00e9s, bistr\u00f3s y una animada vida comercial.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Otras atracciones imperdibles de Split son el <strong>Palacio Cindro<\/strong>, la <strong>Fortaleza de Kliss<\/strong> y la <strong>Galer\u00eda de Arte Iv\u00e1n Me\u0161trovi\u0107<\/strong>. Por otro lado, si lo que buscas es alejarte un poco del ajetreo de la ciudad, puedes ir a la id\u00edlica <strong>Hvar<\/strong>, conocida como la isla de la lavanda, o a <strong>Brac<\/strong>, una isla famosa por sus bell\u00edsimas playas.
