la de la ciudad misma. De acuerdo con los registros oficiales, el primer puente construido sobre la parte m\u00e1s estrecha del r\u00edo Arno, fue obra de los romanos al momento de fundar la ciudad.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Este primer puente, hecho de madera, resisti\u00f3 durante un largo tiempo, hasta que finalmente cay\u00f3 v\u00edctima de las inundaciones, las crecidas del r\u00edo y el desgaste de sus materiales.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>En el lugar del antiguo puente, se alzar\u00eda otro, que llegar\u00eda a ser un aut\u00e9ntico emblema para todos los florentinos.
