construcci\u00f3n de la <strong>Fortaleza de Akershus<\/strong> se llev\u00f3 a cabo durante el siglo XIV, y sirvi\u00f3 como residencia real, c\u00e1rcel y lugar de ejecuci\u00f3n.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Est\u00e1 ubicada cerca del Ayuntamiento, en el coraz\u00f3n de Oslo. Y su nombre proviene de la antigua granja sobre la que fue construido el castillo, la granja Aker.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>A lo largo de su historia, la fortaleza tuvo gran valor estrat\u00e9gico y simb\u00f3lico para Noruega. Su proximidad al mar era muy importante, ya que el poder naval era esencial a la hora de proteger los intereses del comercio noruego.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00bfSab\u00edas que tambi\u00e9n funcion\u00f3 como residencia real? Esto ocurri\u00f3 durante el reinado de Cristian IV. Sin embargo, el siglo XIX fue la fase de decadencia de la fortaleza.
