cre\u00f3 el Castillo de Maschio Angioino<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5460cf80 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" Angioino<\/strong> es un palacio medieval, cuya construcci\u00f3n inici\u00f3 en 1279 durante el reinado de Carlos I de Anjou. En su momento, recibi\u00f3 el nombre de Castel Nuovo para distinguirlo de las fortificaciones anteriores. Este precioso castillo que se adentra en el puerto, jug\u00f3 el papel tanto de residencia real como de fortaleza, gracias a su posici\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>Durante el reinado de Roberto de Anjou, el castillo se convirti\u00f3 en un centro cultural frecuentado por m\u00e9dicos y artistas. Pero despu\u00e9s de los angevinos, los aragoneses ascendieron al trono con Alfonso I que, al igual que sus predecesores, estableci\u00f3 su residencia real en Castel Nuovo.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>Hoy en d\u00eda, es dif\u00edcil observar huellas de su arquitectura g\u00f3tica original. Esto se debe a que la mayor parte del Castillo de Maschio Angioino data del siglo XV, cuando se llevaron a cabo una serie de reformas.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>Originalmente, este ten\u00eda la forma de un cuadril\u00e1tero irregular, con cuatro torres de defensa, altos muros con almenas y estrechas aberturas.
