cultura, como por su arte y tradiciones. Al igual que muchas otras sociedades cl\u00e1sicas, los griegos eran polite\u00edstas, es decir, cre\u00edan en much\u00edsimos dioses, cada uno con un poder espec\u00edfico.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Una de esas deidades era Hefesti\u00f3n, y seg\u00fan la tradici\u00f3n, \u00e9l se encargaba de crear las armas para los dem\u00e1s dioses del Olimpo. Igualmente, los herreros y forjadores de la Grecia Antigua rend\u00edan culto a Hefesti\u00f3n, al considerarlo el gu\u00eda principal de sus labores.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Sin embargo, y a pesar de su importancia, Hefesti\u00f3n no pod\u00eda competir con los dioses m\u00e1s importantes para los atenienses, que eran Zeus, Atenea y Poseid\u00f3n. Por ese motivo, el <strong>Templo de Hefesti\u00f3n<\/strong> era m\u00e1s peque\u00f1o que los que fueron construidos para est\u00e1s otras deidades.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Con el paso del tiempo, y con la llegada del cristianismo a Grecia, los viejos dioses fueron reemplazados.
