elementor-size-default\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo surgi\u00f3 el Palacio de Queluz?<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-171a9f6d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"171a9f6d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>En 1747 Pedro III, siendo a\u00fan infante, orden\u00f3 la construcci\u00f3n del Palacio de Queluz sin saber que pocos a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde, en 1755 un gran terremoto asolar\u00eda Lisboa y convertir\u00eda este palacio en la residencia oficial de los Braganza y el coraz\u00f3n del Reino de Portugal durante un tiempo. En 1807, con la llegada de los franceses, la familia real se traslad\u00f3 a Brasil y el palacio comenz\u00f3 su decadencia. A principios del siglo pasado fue cedido al Estado y se dedicaron muchos a\u00f1os a la restauraci\u00f3n para devolverle todo su esplendor.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>El <strong>Palacio de Queluz<\/strong> se erigi\u00f3 sobre la antigua Casa de Campo del Marqu\u00e9s del Castelo Domingo, donde se fueron realizando obras durante a\u00f1os para transformar el edificio en el nuevo palacio. Las obras fueron un gran \u00e9xito, hasta el punto de convertirlo en el precioso edificio barroco que podemos ver hoy.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Al llegar lo primero que impacta al visitante es su fachada principal, tan sobria que parece querer esconder la verdadera grandeza de esta construcci\u00f3n. La primera curiosidad de este palacio es que la fachada m\u00e1s hermosa se orient\u00f3 a la parte trasera, mirando a los jardines. Esta fachada tiene dos alas asim\u00e9tricas pintadas en colores pastel, decoradas con sucesivas balconadas y la vista desde los jardines es una instant\u00e1nea indispensable.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b89e520 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"b89e520\" paseo por las nubes. <strong>El Jard\u00edn de Malta<\/strong> y el <strong>Jard\u00edn Pensil <\/strong>forman los jardines superiores. Ambos son de planta rectangular, delineados con setos de boj y plagados de fuentes, esculturas y jarrones. Un verdadero museo al aire libre y el mejor lugar para perderse.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Unas hermosas balaustradas decoradas con esculturas separan los jardines superiores del parque a trav\u00e9s del <strong>P\u00f3rtico de los Caballeros<\/strong>. \u00c9ste se sit\u00faa frente a la <strong>Gran Cascada<\/strong>, presidida por esculturas de plomo y m\u00e1rmol y revestida por piedras de Cascais.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>En el parque destaca el <strong>Canal de los Azulejos <\/strong>, un gran canal revestido en azulejos blancos y azules y decorado con hermosas escenas, al igual que el exterior del canal, todos inspirado en diferentes grabados de tem\u00e1ticas diversas.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Y estos no son m\u00e1s que un pu\u00f1ado de los muchos rincones que van sorprendiendo durante el paseo por los jardines o el Palacio de Queluz, que a cambio de tanta belleza solo pide al visitante el tiempo suficiente como para poder mostr\u00e1rselo todo.
