elementor-size-default\">Historia de la torre<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2dc9e222 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2dc9e222\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>La Giralda es un s\u00edmbolo de <a href=\"https:\/\/tripaim.com\/blog\/sevilla\/sevilla\"><span style=\"color: #842000;\"><strong>Sevilla<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, construida en el siglo XII por los almohades, una dinast\u00eda isl\u00e1mica que gobern\u00f3 la regi\u00f3n. Originalmente, la torre formaba parte de la mezquita de la ciudad y serv\u00eda como sitio donde se llamaba a la oraci\u00f3n.<\/p><p><br><\/p><p>En 1248, cuando los cristianos reconquistaron la ciudad, la mezquita fue convertida en catedral y la <strong>Giralda<\/strong> se convirti\u00f3 en el campanario de la nueva iglesia. Durante los siglos siguientes, la torre fue sometida a varias modificaciones y ampliaciones, incluyendo la adici\u00f3n de un remate renacentista en la cima.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>A su vez, la Giralda fue testigo de numerosos acontecimientos hist\u00f3ricos y culturales, como la llegada de Crist\u00f3bal Col\u00f3n tras su primer viaje a Am\u00e9rica o el terremoto que sacudi\u00f3 la ciudad en 1755. Este emblem\u00e1tico edificio de Sevilla mide casi 105 metros de alto y se caracteriza por su campanario, agregado luego de la Reconquista de Sevilla por los cristianos en el siglo XIII.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Las campanas que all\u00ed suenan se utilizan para marcar las horas y para anunciar eventos importantes en la ciudad.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>A su vez, la torre cuenta con una rampa en lugar de escaleras que se dise\u00f1\u00f3 para permitir un f\u00e1cil acceso a la cima ya sea en caballo o burro.
