hist\u00f3rico del Puente del Diablo se encuentra esta asombrosa arquer\u00eda romana, construida durante el periodo de reinado de Augusto, en el siglo I a,C. y que pertenec\u00eda al antiguo acueducto romano que se encargaba de proveer agua a la ciudad de Tarraco transport\u00e1ndola desde el r\u00edo Francol\u00ed.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>La utilidad que representaba para los habitantes era tal, que se continu\u00f3 utilizando hasta entrado el siglo XVIII y su casi perfecto estado de conservaci\u00f3n le ha valido al <strong>Acueducto de Les Ferreres<\/strong> ser declarado Bien Cultural de Inter\u00e9s Nacional \u00a0y Patrimonio de la Humanidad \u00a0por la UNESCO.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f4c002c data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>El <strong>Puente de Les Ferreres<\/strong> es el fragmento del acueducto romano que se mantiene y que a d\u00eda de hoy se puede visitar; fue dise\u00f1ado con dos niveles de grandes arcos superpuestos entre ellos, con el objetivo de salvar el barranco de las Ferreres, adem\u00e1s la construcci\u00f3n fue coronada por un canal, llamado specus<strong>,<\/strong> a trav\u00e9s del cual circulaba originalmente el agua hasta la lejos del agitado ambiente citadino, el <strong>Acueducto de Les Ferreres <\/strong>es el \u00fanico acueducto en Catalu\u00f1a por el que es posible dar un paseo con visitas guiadas con el objetivo de transportar a sus visitantes hacia los a\u00f1os de esplendor de la Tarragona romana.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>A escasos metros de la entrada al parque, se ubica una pasarela de madera desde la cual es posible obtener preciosas panor\u00e1micas del acueducto. Tras finalizarla y adentrarte por los senderos rocosos del tranquilo bosque que atraviesa el barranco se llega al impresionante monumento de m\u00e1s de 200 metros de longitud y 26 metros de altura.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Si eliges el camino de la izquierda te acercar\u00e1s a los pies del acueducto y all\u00ed podr\u00e1s caminar bajo sus enormes arcos y contemplar su imponencia y belleza. Tomando el camino de la derecha, cruzar\u00e1s a pie el acueducto de un extremo a otro por el mismo lugar a trav\u00e9s del cual,\u00a0<\/p><p>originalmente transcurr\u00eda el agua y te sorprender\u00e1 una vista incre\u00edble del bosque que lo rodea.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Para cerrar el recorrido con broche de oro te esperan los jardines rom\u00e1nticos creados por los hermanos Valls i Puig a principios del siglo XX.
