Sin embargo, esta ciudad fue construida cerca de la ribera del r\u00edo Guadalquivir.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Esta ubicaci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica no signific\u00f3 ning\u00fan problema para los primeros habitantes de la ciudad, pero a medida que C\u00f3rdoba crec\u00eda y se hac\u00eda m\u00e1s importante, los asentamientos empezaron a dividirse y separarse entre s\u00ed, por lo que fue necesario crear un puente que conectara las dos partes de la ciudad.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>La soluci\u00f3n no tard\u00f3 en llegar, el Imperio Romano administraba la ciudad, por lo que r\u00e1pidamente se planific\u00f3 la creaci\u00f3n de un puente sobre el r\u00edo Guadalquivir.
