class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Durante la \u00e9poca de expansi\u00f3n del Imperio Romano, la Pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica fue uno de sus tantos dominios, por lo que a\u00fan se puede ver una gran herencia de cultura y arquitectura latina tanto en Espa\u00f1a como en Portugal.Sin embargo, hubo momentos en los que el ingenio romano no fue suficiente, y se tuvo que pensar en soluciones improvisadas para solucionar problemas de transporte, comercio o navegaci\u00f3n.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>Una de esas ocasiones ocurri\u00f3 cuando los arquitectos romanos intentaron construir un puente sobre la secci\u00f3n del r\u00edo Guadalquivir que atraviesa <a href=\"https:\/\/tripaim.com\/blog\/sevilla\/sevilla\"><span style=\"color: #842000;\"><strong>Sevilla<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. En esta ciudad andaluza, la ribera del r\u00edo es endeble, y era muy dif\u00edcil mantener una estructura en pie.<\/p><p><br><\/p>\n<p>Cuando los musulmanes conquistaron Andaluc\u00eda, la necesidad de unir Sevilla se hizo ineludible, por lo que el gobernante Abu Yacub Yusuf orden\u00f3 la construcci\u00f3n de un puente provisional.
