Originalmente, esta enorme residencia era una peque\u00f1a casa, ubicada cerca del coraz\u00f3n de la ciudad. Gracias a su privilegiada localizaci\u00f3n, la vivienda pronto gan\u00f3 popularidad entre los locales, convirti\u00e9ndose en un lugar de reuniones y socializaci\u00f3n.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Igualmente, se dice que la Casa de las Cabezas negras fue adquirida por un grupo de mercaderes alemanes, quienes la utilizaron como la sede de su organizaci\u00f3n. Este grupo, que se form\u00f3 a mediados del siglo XVII, era conocido los Cabezas Negras, gracias a ellos, la casa adquiri\u00f3 su curioso apodo.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Con el pasar de los a\u00f1os, muchos ciudadanos de Riga se interesaron en la propiedad, y llevaron a cabo diferentes obras para ampliarla y reformarla, siguiendo un estilo puramente g\u00f3tico.
