cuando el joven rey, Sebasti\u00e1n I, asumi\u00f3 el mandato de la naci\u00f3n lusa. Esto ocurri\u00f3 en el siglo XVI, cuando la memoria de las Cruzadas a\u00fan estaba presente en diferentes naciones europeas.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Sebasti\u00e1n I era un cat\u00f3lico devoto, y estaba en contra de la expansi\u00f3n del Islam, que ya hab\u00eda conquistado parte de la pen\u00ednsula ib\u00e9rica en diferentes ocasiones.
