primera gran academia griega, que lleg\u00f3 a ser conocida en todo el mundo cl\u00e1sico, fue la Academia de Plat\u00f3n. Esta fue fundada por el destacado filosofo Plat\u00f3n, antiguo estudiante de S\u00f3crates.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>En esta primera escuela, se ten\u00edan grandes debates filos\u00f3ficos y se incentivaba el desarrollo de las ciencias. Por muchos a\u00f1os, la Academia de Plat\u00f3n fue el principal centro de conocimiento de la regi\u00f3n, y all\u00ed se formaron importantes personajes de la historia grecorromana, como Arist\u00f3teles, Her\u00e1clides y Juliano, quien fue emperador de Roma.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Sin embargo, la Academia de Plat\u00f3n fue censurada por el gobierno romano, especialmente cuando este estaba bajo el liderazgo del emperador Justiniano. Finalmente, esta antigua academia desapareci\u00f3, y junto con ella, la filosof\u00eda ateniense vivi\u00f3 un periodo de gran declive.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Por suerte, el legado de la Academia de Plat\u00f3n contin\u00faa hoy en d\u00eda, siendo la <strong>Academia Nacional de Grecia<\/strong> el s\u00edmbolo del renacimiento cultural y cient\u00edfico del pa\u00eds.
