Today, the entire structure of the Parthenon is undergoing reconstruction and conservation, so it is closed to the public. Luckily, it can still be seen up close and it is possible to get close to the temple foundations.
Being inside the Acropolis, you have to wait for it to open to the public to be able to make the journey to the Parthenon. Apart from this mythical temple, in the oldest part of Athens you will find other monuments, such as the well-known Theater of Dionysus.
