Touring Paris in its entirety is not an easy or quick task. However, you should not worry if you only have three days, since there is a lot to see in the city in that time, without feeling that you missed important things. Learn more below.
Paris is a monumental city, not only because of its iconic sights, but also because of how vast it is. Therefore, the first day will serve to adapt to their busyness and fast pace of life, which is normal in such large cities.
To start with, our first day in Paris can include a walk or bike ride along the Seine River, which stands out for its romanticism, but also because this river is a symbol that reflects the identity of Parisians.
In addition, in the Bridge of the Arts we can have a magnificent view that combines the river and the city, and observe the daily life of the local people who pass through there.
In the same way, a walk through the Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe can serve as the culmination of this day.
This city has a magnificent sample of monuments and museums, and the second day can be used to visit some of them. Among the most emblematic, we find the well-known Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum and the Cathedral of Our Lady of Paris.
On the other hand, if you are one of those people who feel an affinity for architectural heritage, in the Santa Capilla you will find an authentic treasure of Gothic style. Although less famous than the aforementioned cathedral , this temple is a visual marvel.
During the night of the second day, you have many options at your disposal to hang out. For example, if you like opera, you cannot miss the glamorous and elegant Garnier Opera House, which is an emblem of the local culture. If you like a lively, light-filled show more, your best alternative may be to go to the Moulin Rouge, located at the foot of Montmatre hill.
If in the middle of this hectic itinerary you have a free space, do not hesitate to use it to visit the awe-inspiring Catacombs of Paris, known for being, probably, the most famous network of underground tunnels in Europe.
You can start your last day of stay in Paris by visiting the Montparnasse neighborhood, located to the left of the Seine River, and home to one of the tallest skyscrapers in all of France.
On the other hand, keep in mind that the best of Paris does not have to be located in the center of the city. A short car or bus ride will take you to one of the most magnificent places in all of Europe, the Palace of Versailles.
Versailles is a true gem, and is a must-see on any trip to Paris. Its beautiful infrastructure is huge, and exploring its many rooms and gardens could take you all day. A real finishing touch for three days in Paris.
