Going to Paris is the dream of many, and that is understandable. Nicknamed the city of love, this French city has a special uniqueness, which makes it incomparable with other cities in the world. Next, we show you the best options to visit Paris in two days.
To get a quick but comprehensive look at the city, we recommend that you take a boat ride on the Seine River. This tour will take you through some distinctive areas of Paris, while also allowing you to observe some of its most iconic monuments.
If you plan your boat ride early in the morning, then you can use the rest of the day to explore the city on foot or by bike. Choosing the bicycle is a good option, since it will allow you to move from one place to another more quickly, and make use of the excellent channels for cyclists that Paris has.
On your bike, which you can rent for a single day, it is easy to go to Monceau Park, the inspiration for the impressionist artist Claude Monet. The park is a very peaceful and pleasant place, as well as being permeated by a genuine artistic atmosphere.
In addition, Paris offers you a huge number of coffees, restaurants and pubs. An ideal place to have a simple lunch in Paris is in the shops and bakeries that are around the Place du Batignolles, located in the center of the neighborhood of the same name.
It is almost a fact that any tourist wants to visit the three great icons of Paris: the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum and the Arc de Triomphe. And on your second day, you can get to visit at least two of these iconic places.
You must bear in mind that in order to enter the Louvre or the Eiffel Tower, you will have to stand in a long line to buy the ticket, and once inside, you will have to stay there for at least a couple of hours, so that the visit is worth the pain.
It is better to go to the Eiffel Tower in the morning, to try to beat the hordes of tourists. If you are lucky, by noon you will have finished your visit. While at the Louvre, you will probably have to spend several hours to complete the tour, so we advise visiting it during the afternoon, and not being in any rush to go elsewhere.
The nightlife in the Parisian capital is one of the most active in the world, and there will always be something interesting to see or do. The options are very varied, so the visitor is always enchanted by something as simple as the lights of the city.
Likewise, the famous Moulin Rouge cabaret establishment offers shows every night. Karaoke bars abound as well, and restaurants stay open late. If you are looking for dance clubs or live music, you will have many options, especially in the Saint Germain, Bastille and Marais areas.
But if you don’t want anything too overwhelming, a night tour of Paris can be a great option. That is why a night walk around the Champs Elysees is simply unforgettable to complete two days in Paris.
