Madrid is a city with many attractions that combine history, modernity and, above all, culture, a lot of culture. Therefore, in this guide to visiting Madrid in two days we will show you some of the most symbolic places that you cannot miss.
For our first day in Madrid it is very important to soak up the idiosyncrasy of the city, walk it, feel it. Even if you are one of those who get tired quickly when walking, you can take the subway to shorten distances, and still you will know a sample of the common life of its inhabitants who travel daily by this means of transport.
On the surface or underground, we have to reach the most emblematic monuments. Among them, the idyllic Royal Palace of Madrid, surrounded by gardens and squares that never disappoint its visitors. In El Retiro, in addition to enjoying its paths and vegetation, we can also visit the Fountain of the Fallen Angel, to continue to the impressive Palacio de Cristal and Palacio de Velázquez. A little further on we will find the Grande del Retiro Pond, ideal to clear the mind and conclude the route.
