If so, go ahead and visit Sempione Park, a huge space surrounded by trees, vegetation and a pleasant artificial lake. If you needed a space to relax, you have found the ideal option.
Sempione Park was built behind the Sforzesco Castle, between 1890 and 1893, inspired by the English gardens of the 14th century. At the time of its creation, part of the castle was also demolished, the space that was used for horse races and other celebration rooms.
Throughout its 47 hectares of vegetation, flowers and trails, both locals and tourists gather at any time of the year to enjoy an afternoon outdoors.
Within the park you will find a wide variety of trees from all over the world, such as Holly, Catalpa, Atlas Cedar, Himalayan Cedar and Incense Cedar. In addition, they inhabit various animals such as ducks, squirrels and birds.
